I found myself here, a ranch in the middle of nowhere Montana, not by birth--but by marriage.  A love for this lifestyle has come naturally, but not without challenges. 

Welcome to my writings where I tell modernly rugged tales of the American West, from my little homestead while sipping my morning coffee and most likely in a pair of faded jeans. Trends come and go, denim remains, and I am a firm believer that you can never own too much of it. Known for wearing a "Canadian tuxedo" most days of my life, the name denim dairies came to me easily, because, well--it's me.   

As faded denim jeans are earned, not bought, here I will share the long days and a glimmer of our life in Montana on the Centennial Darlington Ranch. In this blog you will find any and all things cattle, homecooked recipes, raw tales of motherhood, maybe a good idea or two, maybe a bad idea or two, and most likely a sprinkle of humor.
