Bulk beef sounds intimidating. It doesn't have to be.

Buying bulk beef can feel confusing and overwhelming.

How much beef is in a half? What kind of cuts? How much beef should I buy for my family of 5? How big of a freezer do I need??

These are all questions we regularly get when counting down to our bulk beef harvest.

But fear not my friend.

By the end of this blog post I will have answered nearly any question you might have about buying bulk beef.

After reading it you will feel empowered and knowledgeable in the world of bulk beef and you will be equipped to make the right decision for your family.

What is bulk Beef?

Bulk beef is the most cost-effective way to feed your family well. When you buy in bulk this means you are buying your family's annual supply of beef all at once. You will invest in a whole cow, a half, a quarter, or an eighth depending on your family's needs:

Whole Beef: Feeds a family of 6 for an entire year with moderate use.

Half Beef: Feeds a family of 3-4 for an entire year with moderate use.

Quarter Beef: Feeds a family of 2 for an entire year with moderate use.

Eighth Beef: Feeds an individual for an entire year with moderate use.
