Chuck Roast Asian Rice Bowl
This recipe is EASILY my favorite culinary creation to date. Easy to make and absolutely packed with flavor! When picking a chuck roast make sure it has good marbling, this ensures a tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef rice bowl!
Best way to find high quality beef you can trust?? Buy it directly from your rancher! This makes all the difference.
Place thawed 3-4 lb. Chuck Roast in crock pot on high.
Add:
1/2 c. Soy Sauce
1/4 c. Rice Vinegar
1/2 c. Toasted Sesame Oil
2 tsp. Minced Garlic
1 tsp. Chinese Five Spice
1 tsp. Ground Ginger
A little fresh ground salt & pepper
Cook for 4 hours
Sauté 2 celery sticks, 2 shaved carrots, and 2 zucchini until tender. (Don’t overcook, you want them to have a bit of crunch!)
Cook jasmine rice according to directions.
Build your bowl, top with green onion and sesame seeds, enjoy! 🍜
